Dance Artist

My name is Jill, and like many dancers, I was entranced from an early age by the delight and wonder of movement—of music, of story. What began as twirling in my family’s living room soon became a lifelong inquiry into how the body listens, responds, and reveals. Over time, I’ve come to understand that dance is not about seeking answers, but about dwelling in the unknown—trusting the invitation to dream, to transform, and to connect.
For me, dance is more than a pursuit; it is a way of being in the world. It is where I meet myself most honestly—an ever-present collaboration. It continues to be both my most exacting teacher and my softest place to land.
And this is why I dance.
